I’ve spent 17 years fixing broken systems in plants, factories, renovations, and maintenance jobs. That wiring carries over into this business. I kept seeing the same admin mess everywhere: permits in a glovebox, receipts split across phones, invoices buried in email, and renewals handled when somebody finally remembered. That kind of disorder burns time, cash, and credibility.
Blue Crane started as a fix for my own paperwork load and turned into a system for real businesses. Solo operators use it to stay ahead of receipts, tax prep, and cash flow. Larger crews lean on it for compliance, renewals, and keeping company records straight across more people and more job sites. I still work full-time as a Millwright in Hamilton and build Blue Crane around what actually slows owners down. The point is simple: less admin drag, faster proof, and more time back at home.
